Founded in southern Minnesota by Charles Beckman, Red Wing Shoes have over a hundred years of footwear making experience. Released in the 1950’s the iconic 875 six inch boot was the shoe that propelled the company to world wide recognition. Slightly smaller and lighter than its eight inch cousin, the 875 was a favourite amongst workman and hunters alike. Its rich russet colour is derived from leather, tanned from the sap of a giant Redwood. It features good year welt construction and triple stitched quality as well as a white traction sole.
