Fresh from Edwin we have two new styles of denim in store. The Sen Selvedge Skinny as its name suggests is Japanese selvedge denim that has been rinsed and distressed to bring out beautiful fades that would take the wearer years to accomplish. Edwin is renowned for its unique ability to age denim in a masterful and classic way without the finished product looking forced and unnatural. The Sen is more of a slim fit than skinny in today’s standards and features the cinch back; a throwback to the old days where people couldn’t afford leather belts and used the cinch to tighten their jeans. The Tokyo Slim which although is not a selvedge is entirely made in Japan and has gone through the same rinsing and distressing process. It is also a slim fit with a low rise and is probably slightly more of modern silhouette than its cousin. For $109.95 you can’t really go wrong.

To keep your noggin warm this winter we’ve received a variety of beanies from the folks at Coal. The drop include some interesting patterned knitted goodness in the form of the Dakota and the Air Bear. It’s safe to say that winter has arrived and to compliment the cool brisk weather, what better way to keep warm than a pair of crisp selvedge denim. Our newest brand to join the CAPSULE family is Japan Blue. Japan Blue is a sister label of Momotaro Jeans & deals in some of the finest Japanese made denims. Where Momotaro bases their designs on the traditional & vintage, Japan Blue sets out with the innovative goal of creating a more fashion minded product in terms of fit & fabric choices. We’ve been fortunate to receive the 0700SP style which is a collaboration from both brands. The denim features 14.8 oz selvage denim with a tight/straight fit, cowhide leather patch, Momotaro ‘Going to Battle’ printed backpocket, Momotaro hardware as well as the signature pink stitched inseam. Perth’s finest Butter Goods have dropped a snippet of their most recent collection. The drop includes pocket tees, raglans, and beanies which feature classic skateboarding inspired graphics. The collection is now available @ CAPSULE City.

Based in Manchester, menswear retailer Oi Polloi is synonymous with pushing the boundaries of fashion in the UK. So when such a power house teams up with one of Britain’s oldest and most respected footwear companies you know the results are going to be intriguing to say the least. The guys from Manchester have chosen the Wallabee Low as their silhouette of choice and have used a unique pale green suede upper which has unofficially been dubbed “Wasabi Green”. Some select pieces from Obey have arrived in store. The drop includes a myriad of knits, outerwear and pants in an autumn/winter inspired colour palette.The Hampton Sweater features cable knit detailing as well as a subtle embroidered logo on the chest. A great option for a mid-weight jacket comes in the form of the Skyline Jacket in khaki. The jacket features a poly/cotton fabric with snap front and zipper closure. It features interior drawcord for an adjustable waist and chambray accents on the hood and placket. We’ve also received a variety of the Classique Chino Pant. Huffer have delivered a small drop of shirts and outerwear to keep us armed this winter. The drop includes the Lennon Shirt, which features a forest green plaid, with subtle wood button detailing. The classic shirt is a larger, boxier cut with bias cut pockets. The Chill Bomber in navy is fully lined with drill snap dome buttons. It features two front pockets  as well as  fold down collar  which you can pop for extra neck warmth.
